Year 2020

In 2020, nPerf users has made around 2,9 million connection tests (including speed test, browsing test and streaming test) with nPerf mobile app (iOS, Android). With this kind of tests nPerf measures the real performance. At nPerf, we consider that the customer experience on a mobile network is not only based on download speed but also on the uses such as streaming and browsing. 

From this publication, 5G in now included in our results. 

True Move H, best mobile carrier for the fifth time on Internet services

True Move H is at the first place in our ranking 5 years in a row! With a score of 70,855 nPoints, True Move stays ahead AIS, number two, and dtac, number 3. 

This year True Move didn’t let any chance to its competitors. Indeed, he won the battle in the most important categories: 

• Best download speed with 40.7 Mb/s

• Best latency with 32.1 ms

• Best browsing performance with a performance rate 58.8 %

• Best streaming performance with a performance rate of 77.7 %
When we look at the evolution of downlink speeds throughout 2020, we see that True Move H has not missed its start on 5G either.

AIS best 4G connection rate and best upload speed

AIS is at the second position in our ranking and makes the difference on 4G networks. Indeed, the operator has the best connection rate in 4G with 90.88 %, which means that AIS customers are more often connected in 4G than True Move H or dtac ones. Furthermore, AIS is the operator with the best upload speed.

When we look at the evolution of downlink speeds throughout 2020, we see that AIS, as True Move H, has not missed its start on 5G either.

dtac still in third place

dtac did not bet on 5G in 2020 which penalizes the operator in its performances.
