Our analysis

In 2022, nPerf users has made around 3,1 million connection tests (including speed, browsing and streaming tests) through the nPerf mobile app (iOS, Android). With this kind of tests nPerf measures the real performance. At nPerf, we consider that the customer experience on a mobile network is not only based on download speed but also on the uses such as streaming and browsing.

For the third time, this publication includes the 5G results. Indeed, their proportion is growing fast.

True Move H has now won the performance’s battle for 7 years in a row! With a score of 93 669 nPoints (+26% in one year), True Move stays ahead AIS, number two (+23% in one year), and dtac (+24% in one year) that remains the last ranked operator, far below its competitors.

This year True Move wins on all nPerf indicators, notably taking over the lead on speeds:

Best upload speed with 23 Mbit/s
Best latency with 27,3 ms
Best browsing experience with a performance rate of 67.2 %
Best streaming experience with a performance rate of 87.6 %

AIS takes the lead on the 5G downlink speed.

In global, AIS keeps the second position of our ranking but the best 5G download speed average is awarded to the AIS network. Its 5G performance remains stable compared to 2021.

dtac, still in third place.

dtac has significantly improved its streaming and browsing performance but still provides lower speeds than its competitors.
