Orange provided the best broadband Internet performances in Moldova in 2022.
This study is based on the tests carried out by users of the nPerf speed test website. Between January 1st, 2022 and December 31st, 2022 we counted in Moldova, after filtering, 26.741 speed tests.
The overall distribution of the tests per provider is as follows :
In 2022 the download speed in the country reached in average 124 Mb/s and the upload speed 113 Mb/s.
Orange is far ahead of its competitors on speeds and also provided the best latency close to 14 ms on annual average, ahead of StarNet, 2nd in our general ranking.
The shortest time is the best.
Focus on the fiber (FTTH)
Between January 1st, 2022 and December 31st, 2022 we counted in Moldova, after filtering, 6.685 speed tests through the main fiber optics national networks.
Their overall distribution per provider is as follows:
Regarding the focus on the fiber, the ranking is the same. Orange, StarNet and Moldtelecom provided high download speeds around 300 Mb/s.
Orange is still in the lead by offering a latency close to 10 ms.
